Not sure how you guys feel, but I would have a tendency to field the same team against Burnley as we did against the Barcodes.
McGinn is back yes, but we looked good with Nakamba hardly putting a foot wrong all night.
He deserves another run out, and players should know that a place in the side is never a guarantee.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would go along with that Dave, Nakamba deserves another crack at it. McGinn is versatile enough to come on for Nakamba if it’s not going well, or for Barkley if he starts blowing hard again as he did in the Newcastle game.
A fresh McGinn coming on with 1/ 2 hour left could reek havoc.

Guys, with both of you on this and I hope Deano thinks the same. A further point, as we ramp the squad up, it's important that players know if they perform well this will be acknowledged by rewarding them with further games as starters. Competition is vital to maintain our current levels.

Sorry guys I am going the other way McGinn starts for me all day long, I accept Marvelous played well but if Jack got injured no matter how well his replacement played he would come straight back in when fit McGinn imo is integral to how we play, we aren’t as effective when he is out of the side and we saw that last season. Burnley will be a tougher test than the barcodes and to me you go with your best eleven and McGinn is certainly in our best eleven.

Agreed, took his chance so deserves to stay in the side, but as we've seen already with Mings and Barkley I think he'll bring McGinn straight back in.

He probably will Moose, maybe that is where some managers should learn, its the performances that count, not the name.

I don’t think we will see the same team. Smith is ruthless and has shown it in the past, with Mings for Hause and Barkley for El Ghazi. Good trait to have as a manager. Would be a bit of a kick in the teeth for McGinn aswell, considering majority of his yellow cards have been for kicking the ball away, standing on free kicks that sort of thing, that he is no doubt told to do in order to prevent quick counters etc.

Plus really we want our best side out, Burnley are hard to beat.

I reckon maginn will be straight back in to be honest, if the last game is anything to go by we should be ok defensively it’s more in the final third we need to push them more, I see Ollie on the scoresheet again I’m hoping that goal will give him that kickstart, the goal that was disallowed was very well taken also I think he’ll be full of confidence, likewise with traore.
