Yup - a mere £110 per shirt ??

155 euro ex shipping for 2 shirts, 0-3 months and 3-4 years with names on back. It's an absolute joke!

£110 is the pro shirt. The normal one which normal people buy is £65. £65 is still a rip off for a t-shirt but at least use the price for the standard shirt before screaming bloody murder.

Is it 65 pounds with names printed and premier league badges on it?

2 things that have never been standard issue on a shirt?
Not everyone wants or needs those things and as with all products, extras come at a cost.
All of the options are overpriced for a basic garment of clothing, my point was that the £110 option is the over engineered kit the players wear and not "the" shirt that people would actually be buying.

Why do fans feel the need to wear the ‘latest’ shirt? Many of the retro ones are so much more stylish and less of a rip-off since they have more longevity. Even £65 is vanity - it’s 32.5 gallons of petrol for goodness sake ?

My most recent are last years training top and home kit from about 5 years ago and those were presents. Other 2 are home and away "cows" shirts where the sponsor logo has long since disintegrated.
I consider myself a pretty die hard supporter watching every game and even have a tattoo containing the crest but can't justify £40,50,60 for a t-shirt every year especially when my usual fashion choice is band t-shirt and jeans meaning i wouldn't wear it regularly.

I don’t buy expensive clothes but I do like all the bells and whistle’s when it comes to my annual jersey purchase, the past few years it was costing me around 90-95 euros for the works so if it’s £110 this year that’s quiet a hike with the currency changeover, probably talking 130 or so euros, usually buy a second 1 late in the season when they go on offer, to be honest I don’t mind paying it as the owners are pumping big dollars into the team and running the club very well, long may it last.
