Well lads Southgate’s treatment of Jack might work in our favour in that I don’t think it matters whether he plays for us Real Madrid, Barcelona or anyone else while Captain Beaky is in charge he ain’t going to get picked to start.

England we’re glad of jack and his assists to get them to where they are, there’s about 5 England players who have showed up for the tournament and jack is 1 of them, you sound like the bitter 1 Ed but then so would I if I won something I knew was ill gotten.
if England play the final like that Italy will be happy. I don’t know about you but I’d rather see great goals win a semi final, don’t get me wrong I didn’t think last nights game was anything special either, was a poor tournament by all means I thought a lot of the big players were poor throughout.

Like it or not Southgate has gotten England through to the FINAL!
Football is always going to throw up controversial decisions and that included our great World Cup side in the 1966 final.
I for one will be supporting England on Sunday with or without Grealish and if we win will not care how we do it. At this stage all that matters in winning.

You were salivating over him less than a month ago Ed😂😂 this is why England have failed for so long, not just players who couldn’t drop inter-club politics/ rivalries, but fans like you who constantly try to use international games to run players down. Like it or not he changed the game against Germany when we had barely created anything, today he came on, added more attacking impetus than Mount did in much less time, job done, onto the final!

Well he did have a good shot saved and he did put it on a plate for Kane right at the end of normal time. I think he did more effective work in 20 minutes than Mount did in 70.

I’m Irish ED 14 so no I wasn’t hoping to see any English player light up the finals🤷â€â™‚ï¸ That and no extra attention needed drawing to how good he is in my book I’d rather keep him at villa than have more clubs circling him. like I said on the Leeds page, England the better side but a shame to see it decided like that.

Set Sterling up aswell mark, shots went over the bar. Created more chances than Mount in less time, and gave away the ball less than Mount and Phillips, per time on the pitch etc. People just expect more because of the high standards he sets. Overall a good cameo, vast majority of our shots on target came in his time on the pitch, so he certainly upped the tempo and helped turn the screw as he would have been asked to do!

At international level I’d take it or leave it Ed, I’ve said on here before not that long ago I wouldn’t be sorry to see him not picked after his change of alligance from Ireland to England, of coarse I wish him well but I’ll lose no sleep, unless it’s villa related lol, after the last 7-8 years of supporting villa I’ve had enough of sleep loss😂😂.

Grealish and rice would make a serious difference to our midfield and probably would of had us at the euros aswel, bamford is another eligible for Ireland, I know players want to play at the highest level but Ireland play the best teams in the world same as every other country. anyhow that dog has being well beaten at this point there’s no changing it now, best of luck to England and Italy on Sunday, may the best team win and I’m hoping for a 3-2 or 4-3 kind of game I don’t mind who wins if it’s a game worthy of a final.
