Only way we got decisions was if it was in front of the assistants. Blatant top 4 bias again.
Felt there was some coy attempt by Stevie G though replacing Nakamba with Carney when Chambers was available. They coincidentally get straight through us shortly afterwards.

Ref was terrible for sure but to be expected we get no favours against the top teams.
Disappointed with Chuck I thought he looked lazy and disinterested in fighting for it, we were very unlucky with a few heavy touches in the box I thought Danny deserved a goal tonight but himself and Ollie really look like they are improving as a partnership, I’d like to see Buendia starting behind them instead of couthinho for the next 2 games.

At least we had a go but I think you can see where our issues lie, I have been a supporter of Konsa and Mings but Konsa is a shadow of the player he was 12 months ago when he would stay on his feet usher strikers out wide and prevent them from getting a shot off or bringing others into the game, now he seems to commit himself when often he has no chance of getting the ball or when players are wide and going nowhere needlessly concedes a foul which puts the back line under unnecessary pressure. Mings tries long cross field balls which rarely find there target and concedes possession. Nakamba is great at breaking play up but his distribution is shocking if we are going to play out from the back we need someone who is better in possession of the ball. Up front we need a more clinical striker you do not get many chances in the premier league you need someone to finish what we create off. Perhaps it’s unfair to compare us with Liverpool but when you look at them they are all comfortable on the ball they move it quickly the initial thought is to move the ball forwards rather than sideways and backwards and the movement off the ball is first class, we have a long long long way to go before we can compete against this type of side.
