Interesting that we are looking to hijack Grady Diangana move to West Brom according to Sky Sports. I wonder whether this is us finally accepting that we won't get Rashica or more worryingly we won't get Benrahma. Also Harry Wilson is supposedly available for about £15 million and whilst opinions are divided about him, he has a proven record in the premiership but we seem to be willing to pay more based on potential. If this one does go through and we do get Benrahma and Watkins we will have spent the most of our budget and not brought in anyone with premier league experience which for me personally would be a worry.

John I know people have their worries about players with no premiership experience, but I honestly fail to see why.
Look at it realistically, we now have a whole squad with premiership experience, so adding a few very good players from various divisions, should not hinder us at all.
Rhian Brewster, Rashica, neither have premiership experience, and you also mention Wilson, he had no experience when he went to Bournmouth, yet he has had a very good season.
Over the years, there have been some fantastic players come from various leagues and divisions, if they are good players, I can`t see the problem.

Dave I accept good players exist in the championship and leagues one and two as well but in my opinion we suffered last year because in the last 15 to 20 minutes of games our game management was quite frankly appalling and that was because we didn’t have a couple of players with experience of the league who could have helped the team see games out. I am not suggesting all our recruitment should be premiership players but I do think one or two would help particularly if we are looking to recruit younger players moving forward.

Harry Wilson has had a single season in the Premier League with a team that got relegated because if bad game management. Not sure how he can really be given the experience edge in the argument.

I agree re: Harry Wilson. but he would provide outstanding set-piece ability, which we should certainly be looking to get in when we have the league’s most fouled player. If the price was right, he could fit in on the right, Benrahma left and play Jack at 8 or 10.
