We can't score goals easily with three forwards, God knows how we expect to score with one dud. Most on here agreed we needed to go after the bottom clubs if we are to survive, today's team selection is diametrically at odds with this. Southampton outplayed us Norwich were the better side and God knows how we are going to fare without an attack today. Couldn't make it today but will watch it on my phone, I really do not expect anything out of this today with Deanos strange some would say suicidal team selection. Hope I'm wrong however the last few games I'm fearing the worst.

I can see your thinking scotty, but I think Deano is trying to fill the gap between defence and attack.
It might just work you never know, I would be slightly more confident if Kodjia was playing instead of Wesley.

Using Lansbury and Jota to find the gaps rather than playing predictable crosses could be a stroke of genius. At least he's trying something different.

Dave it's you I agree with, rk if you watched the first half you would realise how far off the mark both you and Deano are.

I didn't say would, I said could. Playing crosses against a big defense wouldn't have yielded much. The issue was we didn't play to the strengths of the players.
First 20 minutes showed that keeping the ball and getting support in the box had some promise, then the players dropped off.

Not being a nelly but sadly my post above was bang on, It was that obvious how on earth could Smith expect it to work, it's a pity it took him till half time for the penny to drop.
