In the world cup there VAR was differnt to ours any think the ref was unsure of he went to the side of the pitch and looked at it. So why are we doing it differnt there wasnt all these rules about var it was if a ref made a mistake he will go look at it again i don't understand what the FA are doing. Footballs so currupt now days its pointless watching it.
{Ed001's Note - that is down to the PGMOL. UEFA and FIFA want the Prem to have their refs use a monitor at the side of the pitch, like everyone else does. The PGMOL are only interested in protecting their inept officials.}

I’ve been trying to think of a worse/ more ludicrous decision than yesterday, and I’m lost. Anyone got any suggestions? Never seen anything like it.

Take away the awful ref we didn't play well either that's bournmouth and palace we should got something and didn't we need to start playing better or its championship again. 4 games 3 loses doesn't look good i no the ref screwed us but i thought we would have more points dean smiths playing grelish far to deep 4 me.

How’s about 1. The handball goal from West Brom last season against us? 2. The sending off of el ghazi when bandied dives against Leeds? Both awful.

I don't think Smith is playing him deep, he just keeps dropping back to get the ball and unless other people make the effort to find gaps then he's not likely to get the ball further up the pitch unless he sticks near Wesley and we just go long ball.

There’s enough posts about how we played yesterday, this was about that decision.
Both good shouts woodsville but I don’t think they beat it, the handball can be argued the refs view was obstructed, the el ghazi one the motion of him turning with his shoulder was there and the Lino was that far away he couldn’t tell. Both awful calls don’t get me wrong.
But this one, genuinely never seen anything like it, it sounds so mental even typing it but it’s the closest thing to match fixing I’ve seen in the English game. It’s so fishy, his view is perfect, the way he gets his whistle to mouth so quickly when he see Lansbury about to shoot so that VAR can’t intervene, his behaviour before hand especially in the first half, the way he didn’t blow for fouls on us but when we did the exact same is was a foul and a yellow. Guilberts cars was ridiculous, doesn’t even make contact. Add all that to the history with friend and us, Lambert reporting him, his passed decisions and I’m sure (but not 100%) he was the assistant vs Fulham who “missed†the stamp on grealish despite being on camera staring at it, 6 yards away.

The worse I have seen Chris.
The ref certainly had an agenda against us yesterday.
Absolutely shocking from a supposedly premiership ref😋😋
Have not heard from anybody in media who does not agree with villa fans.
We were robbed with a point really we did not deserve on the play over 90 mins.
But all the same a very disappointing outcome before the internationals.
We will be back have no doubt about that.
