According to the BBC, it would seem Gallagher is wanting to stay at Chelski and fight for a place this season and Tuchel has given him 'reassurances' about his future. So the search seemingly goes on ?

Though Gallagher needs to be a regular starter if he's going to make the World Cup squad and, given he's up against N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Billy Gilmour (I'm not including Barkley), I would say his chances of being first choice may be optimistic

If he’s not better than kovacic, RLC or Gilmore then we don’t need him, if we want to push on this season we need someone better than Ramsey or maginn and I don’t think he fits the bill yet, our academy is full of players with potential but right now we need someone in their prime or keep our money for a striker. I won’t be easy finding that in the premier league I think the rest of our signings will come from outside the uk

We should go after Wijnaldum who would be a good addition and not long ago we were linked with Gabigol, what has happened to that?
