Deano been at villa 3 yrs we won promotion in his 1st year, 2nd year we stayed up by luck of the gods, 3rd year were not getting relegated maybe top10 finish, so why not in summer get rid and get a manager too take us too nxt level, tbf deano done his job, surely as a club you want to progress, and are we going to reach them levels with deano in charge, that's all I'm saying our owners will not want top 10 or bottom finishes I can tell you that.

I don't think he's good enough Ed too take too the nxt level mate.

I think progression has stalled, I think he knows his best team but when changes are needed I think he struggles and takes way to long. again I reference Sheffield last season, this time last year they were 7th and then it stalled and downhill spiral since, albeit we will spend more than they did as owners are ambitious but that attractive football we played in first half of season is gone quiet a while now.

I can't believe what I'm reading re Smith sometimes on here. What does Smith have to do to get fans on side?! Win the league this season?! Give the guy a break, what were you realistically hoping for this season?
