I see the world has found another ass hole.
PFA Chief Exec Gordon Taylor has refused to take any sort of pay cut on his 2 million salary.
He is nothing more than a glorified Shop steward.

Evening Dave, hope you’re doing ok mate.
I’ve been looking at quotes regarding greed. Here’s one I quite liked:
Greed is a fat demon with a small mouth and whatever you
feed it, it is never enough.

Evening Mark, I am fine thank you, hope you and your family are all well.
That`s funny mate, and very true in a way.
I like this one; We are rich only through what we give.

That’s so true Dave, another good one is :

The man who has won millions at the cost of his conscience, is a failure.

Oh yeah, we’re fine also mate, thanks. 👍.

New on here and a 1st time poster but enthusiastic reader. Can I just point out that Gordon Taylor is donating 25% of his salary to Jordan Hendersons charity set up to help NHS workers.

{Ed002's Note - But refusing to take a pay cut and the Webex last week was a complete shambles I understand.}

What does he actually do to justify a salary like that in the first place. When you think how much the prime minister gets, it’s not even a tenth of what this man gets, and there is no comparison in terms of responsibility. It really is obscene.
There are people working all hours and putting there lives on the line in order to try and save others, more often than not in this mans age group as well. Right now they are the only people that deserve huge salaries, but they get a pittance compared to him, frankly it stinks.

Like I said last night mark, Taylor is nothing more than a glorified shop steward.
You remember them don`t you Mark, they used to come onto the factory floor and shout and I quote "Every Body Out". Arthur Scargill was one.

08 Apr 2020 11:32:53
I would be happy to do that for a lot less than 2 million a year Dave, smacks of jobs for the boys.

And me mate, my wife and I draw a pension now, and if the truth be known we are probably more comfortable now, than we have ever been.
Priorities, Planning, and Common sense and are the secrets of financial stability.
As my dear Mom used to say, if you only have £1 don`t spend a £1.

08 Apr 2020 12:41:55
True Dave, look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves, though in my case it’s euros, lol
Have a good day mate.

And you Mark, stay safe.
