Whoops touched the send button. Anyway Blackburn had a striker crisis similar to our own. Trevor Francis was their manager at the time, and he decided to try Warhurst up front. It proved to be an incredible success, Warhurst went on to score 12 goals in as many games, he also scored some valuable goals in the cup games.
It's probably a long shot, but might be worth a try.

Yes I do Mark, watched him at VP playing for Sheffield Wednesday, he became very dangerous for a while, and scored some cracking goals.

Don`t talk about age mark, had a Birthday 2 days ago, Wed 15th.

Worth a shot Mark but I think Warhurst is too old and slow now. Probably better to use one of our current centre backs in that role.

Absolutely Charlie. Unfortunately my post is in 2 parts as I accidentally pressed the send button half way through. You will see that I suggested either Hause or Konsa in the hope that one of them might achieve something similar to Warhurst.

Charlie, not sure if your last post is a wind up mate, or are you for real.

I am surprised anyone would think I was serious about Warhurst. I think we should seriously consider bringing Dion Dublin back though 😀.
