One thing I want to touch on is the fans how loud was Villa Park against Everton I mean it was rocking if we can get that everyweek then that would really help us. It looks like we needed that win just to stand still. gutted newcastle won at spurs but in training now I really would have the players passing to each other because you can't keep giving the ball away Mcginn said he was tired that's 2 games his said that now if we keep the ball our team won't be so tired. Luiz looks amazing getting better all the time. I would play the same team at palce apart from one change I would drop Neil Taylor. UTV have a great bank holiday people.

Do you honestly think that during training sessions the players are not put through stringent passing routines.
Watch some of the many behind the scenes videos of Villa training, or go and watch.
They must pass the ball thousands of times in training.
If you ever played football, you would know that passing the ball all day long to team mates is nothing like passing in a competitive match.
Come on walkies you ain`t that naive are you.

Thats why they need to practice more because we won't always come up against a side on a off day all the time. It all happens on the training field pep an jurgan didn't get there teams to pass like that over night it all happens on the training field i know they do it but they need to focuss more on it because if they keep giving the oppisition the ball you will get smashed. I seen the everton game back aswel and they could had 3 or 4 great they didn't but we won't always be so lucky.

Guys understand both positions, however we haven't got the players to pass like Liverpool and Man City that's obvious, that said however I do think our ball retention is not good enough, I do think it will improve under Deano. I do also think having watched a lot of the premier League games, we are well behind others at the moment and walkies is right, we rode our luck against Everton and if we keep doing that we will inevitably be punished.

I love Aston Villa and I want to always win so when others just see the result I give my view on everything I saw as nutural as I can be because If I just said we won everythings great When it wasnt I wouldn't be taken seriously. Pep had 3 friendlys this season why because he says we learn more on a training field than we do in a match against a lower league team. Yes I agree we are not any of the top 6 but even the likes of norwich keep the ball better. We have a new team learning to play with each other that's why extra training more an more hard work should be done what there doing on a training field is good just need to put more hours in. Did anybody else notice every freekick we have is taken qwick now which led to a goal which is great see the little things are working. Now Wesley great performance against Everton but we need that everyweek everybody is harsh on him because if he don't fire the goals in we are in serious trouble because we didn't buy another striker I do belive he will be good but again we need to keep the ball and give him service not just pump it down there all the time!

I agree scotty our passing and ball retention is not as good as it could be, but it will come eventually.
Everything is quicker and that takes some adjustment.
