He easily fits in on that left hand side, JJ and Rogers aren't even competition, just useful cover for the inevitable injuries.
I don't see City accepting less than £50m for him and despite being a Villa fan his wage demands will now be above our budget.
I don't see the club gambling that sort of money with his recent injury record but it's possible we see him back for a season or 2 in a couple of years.

I like Jack but I don’t think he is an Emery type of player. Emery likes his players to be disciplined they all have roles and need to follow his plans, Jack is too much of a maverick for him. I also agree that wages would also be a problem. I don’t think any of the ‘big six’ would be interested if he is going then I think it will be abroad.

I agree wit RK, we have no real left sided winger he would slot in nicely. personally if we could get him for 50 million I’d take him, the wages are probably going to be the problem but if he was willing to come back for realistic wages I’d be on that move. Philips is also finished at city so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them come looking for Doug and they might want to do some kind of swap deal, lots of likely scenarios here, let’s hope our management eek out every last cent from these cheats if it does happen.

Diaby doesn’t play on the left, he plays on the right when he comes on for Bailey and plays central behind Watkins when both him and Bailey are on the pitch together

Diaby best postion is on the left if you watched him at leverkaisen that's where he played his best football, that's where he should play in the villa side with bailey on the right the pace we would have then would be scary, was think about jack aswell i don't think it would work he's not an unai player and he's not that player no more and has lost the pace he had aswell he would be too slow if we had him on the left aswell.

Whack, the future definitely looks bright, with regard to your choices, obviously you missed Buendia, I don't think Jack will be back, the financial numbers won't work in my personal opinion.I know it's controversial but Mings is twice the defender Torres is, he hasn't got the pace needed to be top quality in central defence especially with our high line a ball over the top leaves him vulnerable with lack of pace.His passing is brilliant and perhaps he could play on left side of midfield.Konsa needs to be in the middle of the defence, perhaps Carlos could do a job at right back, if we don't buy.I think we will add a top class striker.Kamara will almost certainly start.So the rotation between Tielemans, Buendia Mcginn, Diaby, Rogers, Ramsey will provide brilliant competition pushing each other and any fall off in form from any of the team will create it's own positives.

Emery obviously disagrees with you on Diaby best position Jonny but your right on Buendia I forgot all about him, I expect zaniolo will leave and Buendia will fill the roll zaniolo currently occupies, jack was never super fast it was his trickery that brought him past players, his ability to win free kicks in dangerous positions was second to none, I’m not saying we will buy him or we should buy him but it’s an interesting story at the minute and one that will probably find it’s coarse in the summer, 1 thing seems certain that he won’t be at city next year.
Interesting Scot, regarding konsa and Carlos, personally I’d prefer konsa in the center but he seems to be going through a role reprofile but at club and country to a point, I couldn’t see Carlos at RB but I had forgotten about the RB we bought, I don’t know much about him but we can’t tell much until he plays regularly in a strong league, if the hermoso rumours are true then I would say that the writing is on the wall for mings, can’t see us keeping 3 left sided cB’s unless we are going to play 3 CB’s and push the fullbacks up a bit, I would be sad to see mings leave, then again mings can play LB aswel, he has pace and if digne leaves he would provide cover for Moreno? What would you think of solanke? Proven goal scorer in the premier league rather than taking a chance on a foreign striker?

Id rather we get lutons striker adebejo he's a good player and is different to what we have, ellis sims aswell from coventry a good player aswell i know we won't sign him but don't know why everton let him go when they struggle to score, i'd have as a squad player
