I would of took him scotty yes but he's going too ajax, he would of been usefull off the bench mate in my opinion plus he's leader and they rnt many of them about now

Allstar, apparently for tax purposes Henderson deferred his salary so that at the end of the contract he could pick up his total salary tax free! As he hasn’t fulfilled his contractual requirements and he has asked to be released from his contract then as part of the deal he has forfeited any salary, so in essence your right he has played for6 months for nothing. I do think we have potentially missed an opportunity here, his experience and expertise together with his leadership skills would undoubtedly have helped the group as we get down to the business end of the season.

We have had his type before imo, players going out to pasture at villa park when they are past it, just there to collect the paycheque, I’m glad he’s gone elsewhere, sure he could of being an asset but he also could of being a huge waste of money for the next 2 years and impede us signing better prospects, I would be shocked if Emery had any interest in signing him to be honest.

How do you know what his aspirations are? He went to Saudi so his aspirations are making money, that didn’t work out for him so now he’s gone to another poor league, nobody in England France Spain Germany or Italy wanted him so what does that tell you?

So we know his aspirations because he has said he wants to go to the Euro’s and in terms of his transfer other clubs were interested Juventus for one and allegedly some from the Bundesliga.
