The injuries just pile up, Carlos being the latest and sadly the lack of quality on the bench is showing its ugly head. Obviously not the coaches fault, however many on here had highlighted what would happen if we had a bad run of injuries and sadly we can all see the effect. The need for quality recruitment and a rebuild in the summer is now clear for all to see and I'm sure the owners and coach will address exactly what's needed.

In terms of summer recruitment unless we are prepared to release one or more of our star players then I can’t see us spending like we did last year as we will risk falling foul of FFP. That said I think decent players exist in the Championship who could improve us, the likes of Sara and Rowe at Norwich, Dewsbury-Hall at Leicester Clarke at Sunderland, Summerville and Gnonto at Leeds and Whittaker at Plymouth to name but a few. I think future transfer strategy may have to be a mix and match ie maybe one big name plus some up and coming youngsters. Hope I am wrong but time will tell I guess.
