Just read that nobody wants Tammy and he is to stay, can't say I'm surprised he just isn't Premier League standard. He wants to stay, nobody else will pay what he gets at Villa. Bench warmer until he moves on.

Everyone is crying out for a centre half. If we had just bought Lindelof and played him tonight, we would have been delighted with his debut. Absolute class act. Maatsen is far too reckless to be a regular starter. Buendia is good until he is under pressure and then loses the ball far too often to be effective.

Emery will sort it, but I'm hoping the team over the next month will look completely different. We didn't have a shot on target tonight and, for all of our attacking possession, that was poor. Hull haven't lost yet. Just hope we aren't another victim on Saturday.

Even though we lost, you can’t complain about that performance. The effort and tenacity of the players was great, defensively we were really good. Just how good was the keeper, put him down for a couple of assists this season. With his kicks and throws, when we’ve got a full side and lots of pace, he will set that many up. Another one of those where, everyone had a good game, not one player let us down tonight. Get our new players firing and light the Blue touch paper and we will be ok. Arsenal tonight didn’t expect that tonight, just how many times where they off side, and we kept them down to, hardly any shots.

Jackson surprised me, with just how good his touch was, give him the time, and he will do well. Hemmings will be a first on the sheet, if he keeps improving, he just needs to improve his decision making at times, but that will come.
Once again, some dodgy decisions by the Aussie ref, certainly didn’t want to give us a lot, can’t wait to watch it back, because I’m sure some of the tackles on Buendia where dodgy.
As I say, get the new players in and things will become, very exciting. UTV

Just looking at the match stats, we had same amount of shots, more from inside the box, and caught them offside 8 times. The only one I wasn't happy about was the ratio of fouls. Not many sides will keep Arsenal down to those stats this season. UTV.

A neutral fan who didn't follow the Premier League wouldn't have seen the difference between the two sides. Keeper looked good and tactics were spot on. Just a bit more composure going forward we could have got something out of tonight. Plenty of positives, once we get every fit and used to each other we could start to rock.

At least we didn’t lose badly. Jackson looked decent. We just need to get our midfielders fit and integrated and we will hurt teams. Barkley, like a headless chicken on the ball, he’s not good enough anymore.

Whack, agree. I thought Kamara hadn't looked himself over the last two games. Perhaps he is covering too much for the weakness we are showing in midfield. Get him back to his best and we will be back on track.
