He doesn’t seem to get the fact that the 3 points are given out after the second half finishes, quiet alarming for a premier league manager. they had more shots than us but apart from the one emi saved with his foot they had nothing that emi didn’t have covered, Raya was beaten with both shots we had that hit the post and crossbar/post, so technically speaking we should of won 4-1 if your to take ‘nearly’ into the equation. he made the mistakes when picking his starting team cause he was that arrogant that he thought they only had to turn up to win and he can’t be seen to be at fault but every man and his dog knows it.
I said on here last week that I was sure that we had a couple of big performances in us this season, that was one of them and what a week to have it when confidence might of being down slightly after conceding against Lille late on, that’s a massive boost for us going into Thursday 💪💪 UVT

Emery did an amazing half time team talk, one of the best performances of the season. I said earlier I hope we put in a great performance with a strong team and boy did we. Everything is in our own hands and it looks as though we are up to it, bring on Thursday, unfortunately my French isn't that good, anyone know the French for four large beers😅

Doing the double over Arsenal isn't for everyone.
I'd be disappointed if Bailey didn't get our POTS, he's not perfect all of the time but almost always produces when we need him to.

Bailey is as good a winger as what’s out there in my opinion, his goal wasn’t an easy finish either the angle was tightening all the time, Doug will be hoping he’s not lost his place lol

In fairness, if the Dingles win all of their remaining fixtures and everyone else between them and us loses all their games, they’ll potentially be in Europe. It’s a bit of a long shot but we need to give NeveSeveN something to live for. As I’ve said before, fair play for him/her/them (who knows nowadays) for at least giving us a tickle on this site 🦁

I have to agree with you on arteta though I really don’t like the man, I don’t know is it arrogance or petulance or a mixture of both, he’s got a right sense of entitlement about him for a manager who hasn’t done a huge amount when you compare what he’s spent.
Odegard was one of my favourite players last year but arteta’s personality has rubbed off on him since and has made him almost as unlikable as himself.

Thursday was poor but today was magnificent soaked up the pressure first half, don't know what Emery said at half time but whatever it was boy did it work, we bossed the second half and fair play to Diego Carlos he was immense throughout. Although I have to say I did feel uncomfortable in that it agreed with Gary Neville's assessment I suppose there has to be a first time for everything. 😁

At the risk of upsetting Ed01 well done palace we should be using this result as an example of "anything can happen in the premier league" Let's see some fight this afternoon and I hope we play nothing like we did against Spurs and Manchester City.

If you do that against even a side as poor as Palace you will lose. I think that is the most frustrating is that Palace were there for the taking.}

Should be put out best team out today and go for it, it will prepare us for a difficult game on Thursday. If Cash is fit I would definitely get Konsa back in the middle and maybe play both Torres and Carloss at the expense of Digne.Diaby Tielemans Rogers Ginny, Tim and Ollie.

Emery got it spot on today scotty. didn’t just go for it we dominated that second half whatever the stats say. I was questioning starting zaniolo but he played great to be fair he won countless corners and a constant pain for them, if he wasn’t winning ball he was winding them up something fierce 😄

If Zaniolo is available for £20-25mill then I think it is worth the risk. He's got past the betting scandal and regaining confidence while getting up to speed with the league.
He progresses the ball well and some of his passes are the business, finding Watkins while under pressure was quality, just unlucky it was marginally behind him.
He also wins a fair amount of corners which does us nicely with our set piece record.

He certainly has improved in the last month for sure, do you think he would join permanently Rk, not being a starter every week the papers give the impression Ed not overly happy but you couldn’t believe them either which way.

I think Emery has suggested he might not be with us next season but personally I'd take him at the right price. There's more room for improvement and I don't think we're getting much better without spending another £35-40m+.

I read earlier we have a purchase clause that we can buy him for 19 million, on top of the 3 million we paid for the loan. probably not bad value in todays market.

20m euros seems like a no brainer, the only issue is that he's more suited to be an inverted winger on the other side where we're covered even though he did well on the left yesterday.
