What a great game last night between PSG and Bayern, I got a feeling that it might just be Munichs year to win it.
Best thing from the game was Nuno Mendes getting proper mugged off in front of his mates from Michael Olise also why Liverpool got rid of Diaz god only knows why

Elvis, my lad, was watching it, he reckons it's the best game he's ever seen, it had everything. UTV.

No. We don’t need to win a trophy.
I hate the rhetoric that we do.
Trophies are not a necessity - they are an opportunity. An exhilarating chance to achieve something special… something rare.
Forcing a mindset that not winning a trophy is “failure” serves no purpose other than to raise anxiety and reduce enjoyment.
There are 3 trophies on offer to everyone each season… 4 if you’re good enough to compete with clubs across Europe. Winning one should be an explosion of joy… not a release of relief.
I don’t get nervous for Cup ties. Nerves are for relegation scraps.
I get excited!
29 Apr 2026 20:57:30
Cup games are always a game of chance. It would be great if Villa won something, but I always think the league should come first and foremost.
29 Apr 2026 23:49:05
League 1st, I agree, but we're on the cusp of atleast getting to a final. If we get beat by Forest, it will be shocking and the season will be over. Players need to turn up 2moz, unlike the last 2 semi finals.
im 70percent confident we will get the job done, but im excited and very nervous. These players could go dwn as legends if we pull this off.

Out of all our younsters who will make the step up there's 3 for me Jimoh Aloahboa, Louie Barry and Hemmings who has featured a few times. I quite like Dobbing as well. Some players play better at a higher level if given a chance, look at Harry Kane had loads of loans and didn't do much. Barry got more about him than Bailey and Buendia, same with Aloahba as well and Hemmings will be a good player and Dobbing has talent, done ok in the championship.
Apart from winning a trophy having 2/3 players make the grade would be class and shows to the other young players there's a pathway yo the 1st team.

Reports suggest Onana may be out for Thursday and next Sunday.
How many games does this guy miss through innocuous injuries?
27 Apr 2026 12:03:53
He's made out of glass, needs selling in the summer. Don't rate him.
27 Apr 2026 22:55:11
Rate him or not, we missed him badly on Saturday. He may have his injury issues, but he's a big presence, and if he goes, we need a big name in to replace him.
25 Apr 2026 23:21:59
Next 2 weeks will shape our season. I'm praying we don't mess this up against Forest as well. It will be hard to take if we get beat in this 1 in 2 legs. I'm slightly worried as well.
26 Apr 2026 11:50:57
Jonny, you have every reason to worry, and trust me, you are definitely not on your own. I have said it many times: our slow, predictable play is far too easy to play against, and every team has worked it out. In some of our recent performances, the standards and tactical set-up have been poor, and that's why the majority of yesterday's posts are showing serious concerns that we could end up with nothing other than qualifying for one of the minor European competitions.
Just remember, 3rd to fifth in the league, our only hope is the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford all fail to get the necessary points to catch us. I can't see us getting enough to stop one of them if they win most of their remaining games. Grim reading, yes. Unfortunately, the way we played yesterday, and the twenty minutes against Sunderland, makes the concern justified.
26 Apr 2026 13:26:45
The other side of that is all those other teams are behind us for a reason. Although I am slightly concerned about losing out, I still rather have our points than theirs. Even with our blips this season, we have been better than all of them. We beat Fulham 5 times in a row; we had to lose to them at some point. We have given them lots of chances to catch up on us, but they haven’t taken them. If I had the choice of beating either Fulham or Spurs, I’d choose Spurs and hopefully have a hand in relegating them.
Like I said yesterday, I do have some concerns, but I’m also excited, and we can’t lose out on the exciting part of things either.
Keep the faith, let yesterday be a wake up call to the players and manager, and let’s get back at it Thursday and Sunday. UTV.
One last thing, Forest have banged in the goals last 2 games, that’s true, but they had scored sod all before that and had struggled for a goal or a win at home. It’s not the Forests that consistently score 3 and 4 goals per game, it’s City, Barca, Bayern, so let’s not get too caught up in 2 good results and remember they scraped their quarter final by 1 goal against 10 men, and we won ours 7-1.
25 Apr 2026 21:00:26
Anyone tries to defend that performance today is deluded.
Not one player showing any ambition.
Rogers is just awful.
Emery has got his work cut out sorting this out before Thursday.
I know it's two legs but it could be over after Thursday night.
25 Apr 2026 20:22:34
Terrible performance today.
Far too many players way below what they should be.
If this is indicative of the rest of the season then you can forget Europa league and Champions league.
Fuming tbh.
25 Apr 2026 19:44:35
Awful performance today. Finished work at 4 and watched the game. I hope the players were saving themselves for Thursday 'cos that was shocking. Good thing about this team is we always bounce back. I still have faith. We need 1 win and 2 brilliant performances to get to the final UTV
25 Apr 2026 15:16:12
Disappointed but, you have to give it Fulham, the energy and effort they put in was brilliant. They continually closed down the angles, but we helped them with our passing, some of it was that far off, giving our forwards no chance. Ollie and Rogers had hard luck with their chances, once again, can’t understand why Bailey got on, adds nothing at all.
Digna had a stinker going forward, every corner and cross was so way off, so much for his wand of a Left foot. Buendia not one of his best, he tries passes at times, that just arnt on, Pau also gave the ball away, his passing was off.
Back to being a Brentford supporter, let’s hope they can pull something off. UTV
25 Apr 2026 15:10:29
Goalkeeper didn't even have to make a save, disappointing show all round and the worst is I'm not at all surprised it's exactly as I expected and Forest will be rubbing their hands.
25 Apr 2026 16:22:03
Dave, Man U will be very excited. UTV.
25 Apr 2026 14:38:56
Disappointing result but I don’t think we played too badly particularly second half, and I think a draw would have been a fairer result.
I know people have criticised Rogers for his flicks and his ability to give the ball away, but Buendia is worse. Add to that, he gives away free kicks in dangerous positions. I’m not sure what we get offensively compensates for the other side of his game.
Boy, did we miss Onana. I don’t understand why for such an important game we played Bogarde ahead of either Luiz or Barkley? Bogarde looked nervous and was too negative in terms of his passing.
But we have Spurs and Burnley to come. 4 points should be enough; we surely have the ability to get those points in those games before our final two games against Liverpool and City. Give n the Forest result last night, I was hoping we could go in following a positive result, but you can’t have everything I guess.
25 Apr 2026 15:15:06
Agree with everything apart from your first paragraph LOTM. We got what we deserved. No shot on target. Tippy tappy backwards play, even with only minutes remaining, it was like nails on a blackboard. Bogarde is a good sub when you're managing a game, but he’s not a starter. Neither is Luiz; both are way too negative. Barkley for me should of been starting, especially since we can’t play him on Thursday. Buendia for me is another one to bring on and should never start. But they were all bad today, even Ginny wasn’t himself. He couldn’t influence the game at all. The only time we played through them was when we played quick passes, but unfortunately we didn’t do the opposite for most of the game.
It just looked like a game where we were holding onto a lead, and to be honest we’re lucky they didn’t score more. Terribly disappointing now the week of a semi final. It really does look like last few years. I hope I’m wrong, but Emery gets us so far, and then when we are in touching distance he gets all cautious and it goes to s***. We have to play without fear if we are to win something. Like I said, I really hope I’m wrong and this is a wake up call. UTV.
