Good run out, should have scored more, Big Brian at it again. Some of the young lads looking really good, Hemmings, Lynch, Cece all played well, nice to see Alyson get a good run. The keeper looks good as well, didn’t have a lot to do, but what he did, he did well.

Big Brian is just a beast, so strong and could have had a couple, you can genuinely see him, causing defenders trouble. Nice to see Ginny back, Garnacho looked a bit lost and frustrated, got to give the kid time. UTV.

Chelsea get £10M fine and suspended sentences for 74 breaches of the rules. Couldn’t make it up, precedent now set so Man City will get a slap on wrist and told don’t do it again.

So unfair when Everton and Forest got hammered with points deductions. One rule for big 6 and s*** the rest, what with this and PSR, why bother when you can’t compete fairly. It makes you sick.

... And if it isn't sufficiently effective at keeping Aston Villa (and other clubs) at bay, some referees can always be of assistance to aid the Big Six. The only thing that would gain attention and cause a stir would be a boycott of all games against the Big Six.

The problem the Premier League has is that if they hit City and prove them guilty, all clubs that have been relegated, lost out on a European place, or have been beaten in Europe by City will all sue the Premier League for allowing City to abuse the system for so long.

That would bankrupt the Premier League, which is why it's taking so long. They won't do anything.

So Eddie Howe is leaving Newcastle. Is he leaving because it is becoming almost impossible to improve any club when the top 6 and the Premier League is just stopping competition?
Will the owners decide that they might stop funding the club if they can't see any progression?
This time next year might Villa themselves be looking at Uni leaving because he can't take us any further?
Looking at the spending this window it is obvious that the Sky 6 are throwing money at trying to destabilise the chasing upstarts by buying the best players from the chasing pack.


I can see in the future that owners will think twice about investing in the Premier if there is no realistic chance of progress.

You have to laugh at all these “in the know” people writing articles, seemingly we are signing this player and that, but none of them knew a thing about Manzambi or Gomes. Now we’ve had a bid turned down for the Brazilian Allan, again not a sniff from the media until after the fact.

That Allan plays for the same team as Jose Flaco Lopez I've been banging on about. If they could get the 2 of 'em, then I'm slapping £100 on us to win the Prem lol. 😂 Allan's YouTube looks decent but not out of this world. But, if it's true we've made a bid for him, then we must be actively looking for a left footed winger. We've been linked with Soule for most of the window, so that 1's probably bs then? I like the look of Roony fella from Barcelona, who they're saying is available for around £10M or a loan.

My understanding of it is they don't want him to leave, but he ain't gonna play ahead of Yamal, so they are open to him leaving for his own career's sake, which is a nice touch by Barca. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Afternoon all. Long time reader so thought would sign up and join in. Bit gutted we are not looking at Gibbs White. Personally think he is much better and consistent than Roger's was and would def give us more of a threat.
