As with all the speculation so far being far fetched (latest 1 we’re willing to drop our price for Rogers to £80M 🙄) & not even worth a click till the window opens, been window shopping for the positions we’re apparently looking at before anyone leaves or at all, I’d go for (excuse any spelling) ⬇️.



Bardhjgi Barca RW £20M.
Mbaye PSG LW/RW/No10 £35M+.
Dju Mitdjlland No9/RW £20M+.

Yes I know we might need a keeper, centre half etc but till anyone leaves time to speculate on those positions then.

There's no chance we budge if they want Rodgers, 120mil plus, easy. The market's gone crazy, plus Rodgers is only 22 and has a contract until 2031. All the power is in Villa's hands.

Exactly why we should take any speculation with a pinch of salt, the main 1 that does my head in is we've got £100M to spend, where's that from, is it written down in blood, why would Villa say to selling clubs 'hey, we've got £100M to spend' all BS

Agree, A72. I love the transfer rumours, but cant stand that media try and sell our players. Media dont do it to the other CL clubs, while Spurs getting linked and signing every top going, yet they have finished 17th two seasons in a row. I dont think they will get Tonali, but they might get Fernandez. Hes good, but not worth nowhere near 80 mil.

Two questions, can’t Pickford catch any ball, he’s so hyper, like he’s had to many E numbers HaHa.
Other question, what was Trossard doing reffing? Much better second half, half time talk must of been good, they turned it up a couple of gears. Can’t stand the commentators on ITV, everyone of them are crap.

Starting with that Pugash, thinks he knows everything, and ex Arsenal co commentator Dickson, he’d have you slashing your wrists. What up with Gary Neville, he won’t say a good word about Rogers, do think his Mrs fancies Morgan.

So Spurs could be bidding up to 100 mil for Tonali. How does that work out when they have finished 17th twice, also just signed Hecke for 57mil? You have to laugh at the rules for the so called big6. I'm glad Villa got a good thing at the top of our club.

It would be nice to spend mega millions but aint gonna happen. I have no worries at all. Villa will be fine and pushing for 4th to 5th again. Sign 4/5 players with exists and squad will be better UTV

Doesn't add up, does it? I'm guessing them selling Kane for around £100M still counts towards that homegrown player pure profit thing for at least another year, then, unless they sell another kid for stupid money, they'll be screwed down the line.

If only we'd turned up when we played them, then they'd be down, but in hindsight, it all worked out for us, so what do I know. 🤷🏼‍♂️

{Ed001's Note - it doesn't work like that, they can spend a %age of their total income under the new regs, so it depends on how much they make from sales as they will amortise full sale amounts immediately, so adding that amount on to their income. Whereas incoming transfers will have the fees spread over 5 years, so only 20% of the transfer fee will come under this season's outgoings. They have a fair bit to spend though, Levy was very good at keeping salaries down, which has left them a fair bit of wiggle room for now. That will be gone with this summer's spending, I would expect, as I doubt they will be able to do that any more with a desire to be more competitive.}
