Only one Villa team have broken the glass ceiling in our European history, we know their names, immortal in the history of our great club. Many of us have tried and failed to to bring a magical European trophy back to Villa Park.
I remember that night against Atletico Madrid, glorious failure on the night. I've never heard Villa Park so loud. The Holte lead the way, and young Villans in K3, K4, K5, you have the chance to do something special and louder.
Make this grand old stadium stand for 90 minutes and never relent for one damn second.
But the Holte End is one fourth of the jigsaw.

Every one of those wins, the noise rivaled anywhere at any time.
We face admirable foe and a special football club that we know very well. A club who believed in miracles and miracles came true for them.
Our players need our voices, our songs, our heart and soul on Thursday. Every stand. Every Villan, old or young.
Remember when you walked into Villa Park for the first time? The joy, the tears, the pride, holding the hand of your Mom or Dad or excitedly shephereded in by your big brother or sister or best mate?

Nice post, Daz, that's the attitude we need tomorrow: a full Villa Park, non-stop energy and letting them know we believe. With, hopefully, Ginny back, the players will have the energy and belief they need to turn it around. The last couple of games, it's the energy and pace that's been missing. UTV.

Unfortunately, Daz, the grounds were littered with "influencers" who rabbit on whilst filming themselves.
Not sure if you're familiar with the newest one, but it's a blonde lady named Amy. I witnessed a video of her being filmed opening football cards during the game the other week.
For a lot of the newer gen fans, the actual game itself is the sideshow for a day on the beer and a few photo and video opportunities for their social media accounts.
Shame, but it's the reality, unfortunately.

Nice post, Daz, and refreshing to read some positive talk.
Forget the club politics, the gripes about form and grumbles about individual players... we have a chance of a major European final. It'll be hard, tense and, knowing Villa, we won't make it easy for ourselves, but these moments don't come along very often, so just embrace the moment and back the team until the final whistle.
If people can't get up for a European semi-final and back the team 100%, it says more about them.

No Dave, no other names, mate. I do praise the team when they're doing good, I'm not gonna praise the team every time we get close to a trophy or it's a big game and they bottle it. Praise is earnt, and, plus, anyway we haven't played well since Xmass. I'll praise them if we win tonight somehow, then if we win the final.
