Not sure how true these rumours are, Emery has pretty much total control of the football operation at Villa, he won’t get that at any other club and I’m not sure having to work with InEOS and the Glazers would be that attractive. However time will tell and as Alain these kind of things money talks. If he does go I am sure we will live to regret it in the long term

You know the old saying about, careful what you wish for . With what’s happening at the moment, hope it doesn’t but this could really end badly. We all agree there’s things happening we’ve all got opinions on . Emery is no idiot, he knows things, ideas have got to change . He was right about the idol defending, three players just stood and watched, instead of defending the ball, for their goal . Personally I think some players have become a bit comfortable. Despite what Tom says, I think Mings should get the captaincy back, he’s by far our best defender and organiser . I love Ginny for his tenacity, but have to agree at times that’s just not enough. As I said when we get a full midfield complement back, I don’t think we will see him as much . With Ollie he’s always been a confidence player, so Emery has to sort out his supply chain . Ok if he’d scored that chance at the end, we wouldn’t have had all this, a win would have calmed everybody down .

Have heard something today that explains a lot, Martinez loss of form included. He's been completely sold down the river by Amorim .as far back as July, Martinez was approached by Amorim, saying how much he wanted him at Man U, then only inquired about a loan . Word is that Martinez never left Bodymoor all day waiting for the call . We've said about how his form had dropped as if head wasn't fully on it .

Some top players were told, including Martinez, that if they wanted to leave their agents could get involved. Now this puts another slant on it, if true you can understand some of the upset .
Certainly things have gone on behind the scenes, all caused by these financial restrictions we are faced with .UTV

VJ you’ve got non league and small kids getting picked up by agents now, they are a curse . First one I knew of was a lad I worked at the Rover with, Vince Okiefe . He played in goal for Torquay, then got picked up by Blackburn, waited ages for his chance, eventually got in and played great . Sadly he suffered a terrible leg break and had to give the game up . He was offered the chance of a job with the FA, this gave him the opportunity to become an agent, he had some top players in his time, one was Chris Sutton .

You all know what a big fan I was of Mr Heck HaHa, it appears that a lot of the complaints by fans groups, seem to have been listened to . We've just been scanning the ticketing on the Villa site, one of my main moans was Heck's treatment of pensioners and kids . It seems as if, this season they have frozen both. Even the start of the article, seems to be less aggressive, than Heck . When Heck left, he seemed a bit pissed off, as his bit of a rant showed . We've said before how it's easy to say how important you are to the club, it's another thing to show it . Even their attitude to the 45, 000 on the waiting list, seems to have shifted, they've noticed that most on there, haven't attempted to buy match ticket .
So here's hoping things are looking up UTV

Well that makes me feel a lot better. If there are 45k on the season ticket waiting list then, at around about the 2000 mark, I’m in the top 5%. At 66 years old, It gives ‘Villa ‘til I die’ a whole new sense of unlikely optimism ? BTW, if I’d gone to every home match last season, it would have cost me around £1500

Once again Martinez just not strong enough, everyone knows what Gabriel can do at corners . We had our chances in the first half, that we didn't make more of a. Marino should have been red carded, that could have made a difference. You have to give it Arsenal they worked thier socks off second half, not giving us a second on the ball .
With two main players out and a lot of others, just not turning up, it was hard .
We have to start again on Saturday, get it going again, luckily other results went our way .UTV

What a difference once again, the subs made .That was like watching Ollie of old, holding the ball up creating time and space for others . A bit of luck with the first, but brilliant header for the second, other managers must be thinking, god they were winning before, but now they've got Ollie scoring again .

My 9 year old asked me who was the commentator, I told him his name and his reply was “that guy should shut his mouth” ??
I actually have a new found respect for ally macoist I find him the best and most non biased commentator, he comments on what he’s watching imo, instead of what should be happening because a big team in involved, maybe it’s just me but I enjoy his commentary above all others.
