2. Probably Kante as I was obsessively fit back in the day and would run all day closing people down all over the pitch. If only I wasn't blind as soon as I took my glasses off (and couldn't wear contacts as my eyes water too much and they would just slide straight out)!

2. Matt le tissier or hoddle ( wasn’t the hardest worker, wouldn’t track back but when I had the ball things happened)

3. When I crossed the halfway line and ended up in my own half 😂😂😂

1 Right back/ Centre Half (latter years)
2 Fabio Cannavaro-was only 5ft 10 but was very good in the air, loved a tackle, not the greatest football talent but loved a physical battle
3 Being a pain in the arse to forwards and was classed as the fittest player in the team.
Some of my best memories are from when I was playing and I sure do miss it despite playing til I was 40.

2. Des Walker, plenty of pace and energy, quick in the tackle.
3. Sharp in the tackle, fitness, and didn’t lose too many aerial duels, despite being 5 ft. 11.

Fun question mate, very nostalgic 👌

1. Right midfield,
2. Damien duff/ mark albrighton type,
3. Scoring direct from corners, if there wasn’t much height in the box I had a nack of curling them into the far corner, good set piece delivery also, I was small so speed was another of my best assets.

Centre forward, Joe Jordan / Peter Withe type of player but quicker and dare I say a bit more skillful. Loved to rough up the cb and goalkeeper. Oh the days. Best asset was scoring goals for fun.

Played every position except for right back. Most games at left midfield but at highest level centre back and centre forward in my veteran years

Hard tackler. Most would be illegal these days. Opponents would be rolling over and over in exaggerated pain all over the place.
