Mixed emotions. Good result for the Villa but dragged the missus to the hospital at 5pm after she'd been ill since Saturday night to find out that she has a bleed on the brain.
Signs are that we've acted early enough, but I've finally got home at nearly 3am with her on a ward not knowing 100% where we stand.
As much as I love Villa, I won't have the heart to debate much in the coming days, or possibly weeks.
It just shows, no matter how good or bad you think things are, there's always something else around the corner.

{Ed001's Note - all the best for your missus rk. I hope things get better soon for you both. Get well soon Mrs rk.}

Thanks everyone. She had another scan this morning and they can't find any major problems, they think it was just a minor blood vessel bursting.
A few days in hospital with an MRI to check for any lasting effects and she should hopefully be ok to come home. A few weeks of headaches and a few months of drowsiness before being back to normal.
Outside of the original wait for triage due to a full A and E, the medical staff were right on it every second responding to every test.
A lot of concerning moments yesterday but luckily seems to be a lot brighter than it could have been.

{Ed007's Note - That's good to hear, RK and will be a massive relief to you all ??

A guy at work has had the same thing in the past month, they (still) don’t know what caused it, he’s had all the scans, in his early 30’s. Fingers crossed for you all RK ????

She's only 36. They haven't spotted a cause yet but she still needs the MRI in a couple of days.
Apparently you can just be born with one or 2 weak vessels that go for no reason.

They said the same thing to my mate, that he might’ve been born with it

He’s just bored sitting at home, think he’s coming back to work in 2 weeks, even though they haven’t diagnosed him properly, he’s entitled to 6 months off with full pay. I wasn’t there the day it happened, from what I was told his little finger had excruciating pins and neededles, then he went dizzy, someone went on that NHS app thing and it said get to hospital immediately, he drove himself there, was in for 2 weeks but that was waiting for multiple scans before they’d let him out, he’s still no nearer to knowing why it happened

My tip off to get to the hospital was her forgetting she took in the shopping delivery and despite several reminders she still thought it was me. All on all she barely remembers any of Sunday.
Luckily the missus also gets sick leave with full pay.
She got taken in for her MRI earlier than expected so we get those results tomorrow.
Found out that she probably has diabetes now also after her blood sugar was consistently high.
