100% Dave. I know he's our player but I honestly believe any true football fan with a decent set of morals could not help themselves but admire him, his career and just the type of person he is.
not enough players like him anymore. he could of gotten a move after a year or 2 in the premier league he has always been a top performer at this level.

Dave, I watched the SJM interview, he is a great player, a brilliant ambassador and a genuinely honest guy. Not only did he get the first half analysis right,he also said in the interview,if the game had gone on ten minutes longer Spurs would have probably got a draw, bang on! Dave you are right he will definitely go down as one of our greats, the difference between him and all the other worthy greats,he is the complete all round super star.
Many of the other greats were great footballers and legends for their ability,SJM is just SJM, he is a great footballer and all round nice guy and we are so lucky to have supported Villa whilst he has been around during our struggles and highlights. He should be a player, coach and ambassador for the rest of his football career at Villa Park.

100% Scot, he is infectious and we need to keep him around the club, so many kids look up to him, my own included, he's always asking about ex players/ legends of different clubs when the camera picks them up and I have no doubt when he grows up and has his own kids he'll be telling them how much of a legend MaGinn was for Villa.
