A few on here don't have a lot of time for Mings, but he was an utter rock in the air today, missed one header all game, that they scored off. Bit of a hairy first half, to slow and not enough energy and aggression. Manzambi must of covered every blade of grass, fantastic work ethic, and lots of ability, he will be brilliant. Midfield was better, but Kamara needs a few more to get back to his best form.
Buendia so frustrating at times, falling over expecting a foul, giving the ball away, but you can't complain about his effort, his goal was once again brilliant. Jackson looking sharp, fast strong and certainly took his goal well, he's fitting in well.
Now that games out the way, we've three weeks for Emery to get the work done at Bodymoore Heath. UTV.

Dave agree about Mings,apart from a couple of minor blips he didn't do much wrong. Tom won't have it but Torres wouldn't have won a single header today and is poor in the box when we are under pressure,yes he can pass but that is not enough for a premier League defence without pace.
I thought Cash,not for the first time was totally reckless with his defending and with the number of fowls he gave away we could have conceded more goals, let's hope Emery sticks with Wan Basaka.
Hemmings let his nerves get the better of him and like Berkley gave the ball away unnecessarily. Great result and lots of attacking positives, just hope our internationals all come back fit, we should then see us start to play with more confidence. Shout out to our keeper,what a signing he is turning out to be.

A rock he was awful in the first half passing was s**** and a little blip at the end of the game that lead to a goal. We won’t score 3 goals every week so that blip that he has every game against better opposition would have cost us 3 points today. Big shout out to Gomez and buendia did a lot of the dirty work today. UTV

Mings problem is caused by stupid hurried passes played behind him, causing him to have to turn. Mings could be man of the match, for the rest of the season,and Tom still wouldn't have it. Dave your right about Pau, he wouldn't have won any of those headers. UTV.

I thought Mings was immense and made 1 mistake at the very end. He doesn't get the credit he deserves. Don't worry Tom I'm sure it's going to be his last season with us.

Pau wouldn't have stopped that goal Tom so not sure how you can use it to have a pop at Mings.
The number of corners and crosses Spurs had and the fact Mings was on the end of pretty much all of them, I couldn't give a toss what his passing was like.
Pau's passing wouldn't have helped during the period where nobody else could control or pass to save their lives.
We rode our luck a bit, defended for our lives and then got at Spurs once they were in their own heads again. Not pretty for the most part but exactly what was needed to get us going.

Horses for courses with Mings, if we're up against a battering ram striker like Mateta, Woods,Delap, I'd even say Haaland, then Pau is not who I'd pick, that was the big mistake Unai made for the semi against Palace, same if we're up against ‘ball playing' centre halves, let Madjo rough them up. Our centre halves had 7 or 8/10 games today, fair play to them both ??
