Question for VJ you say replace Emery in November if no improvement but who with? I can't think of any available managers I'd want. I bet if you read the posts this time last year they would be the same, Emery out, disgraceful, going down etc etc and although I don't think we will win 10 on bounce we will improve and climb the table.
We played some shocking football last season and still finished 4th.
Have faith in Emery and the system because without him things will be worse.

Eddie howe would be the 1 for me if results dont get better did just as good as job at Newcastle like unai.

????? Eddie Howe.

Howe is rubbish, his teams only look good when they only play once a week against a knackered opponent.
Each time Newcastle qualified for Champions League, they were firmly in the bottom half the following year. They couldn't even say they did anything worthwhile in the Champions League as a defence either.
If you think we've had it bad with injuries under Emery, we would be playing the youth teams most weeks with Howe.
His football isn't really all that exciting either, his teams may try get it forward quicker but it's very rarely through play that is actually good to watch, it's mostly schoolboy 'kick and run' stuff.

Emery won a cup and 4 years of the trot in Europe with a team that wasn't even his. Now he's building his own team cut the age of the team down promoted youth(Which you wanted) bought in younger players and you still have the audacity to moan clueless absolutely clueless.

I'm moaning cos of the displays that were producing on the pitch and like i said if it carries on and we still havent won a game by november we should get rid, its different this time around we havent got those players to turn it around them days are gone i reckon i'll happily eat humble pie if I'm wrong but its different this time ur eyes dont lie i know its 4 game but we have been woeful in every game if people cant see that then i dont know wot there watching,so people would rather get relegated and keep unai at Xmas if we were still in bottom 3 and still got no wins.
The way we are playing dont see who we beat were awful maybe Coventry, Ipswich and fulham, lets hope then we pick up points u must see something others don't and a few on here even pundits ex players are worried about villa, i have my doubts cant see us winning many matches the way we play.

Howe only won the league cup, the same cup Dean Smith narrowly lost a final to City in when our only fit striker was Mbwana Samatta.
None of the big sides take that competition seriously, even in the final they regularly play a rotated team.

Jonny, Emery has enough credit in the bank and proven track record to carry on. However I do agree that fans should be, as you say be "worried" this time. Like every home game I was there yesterday and lots of things were evidently wrong. Individual performances were way off the acceptable.
Buendia gives the ball away almost every time he gets the ball and will never be the answer. Mcginn struggled holding on to the ball. Our attacking threat is virtually non existent. Our midfield the engine of every team lacks quality,Kamara just doesn't look fit and with it.
Our defence looks vulnerable to pace and our central defence lacks pace. Our build up is so low that teams can get in to the low block before we can advance, no wonder we can't score. Our tactics show no sign of making changes to upset the opposition when we are struggling, everything is too samey.
Our attack is blunt, again the reason we can't score. Jonny is absolutely correct, if fans aren't worried,I think this time round they should be. At the end of yesterday's game there was only a couple of players at the final whistle that played in the final, so it was always going to be a struggle, however I don't think many would have expected it to be so far off the mark.
Our signings haven't had enough time yet, even though some think they should have including me. We will lose some of the squad to the international break so this will not be ideal for Emery to get them where he wants the team to be.
I Hope (but doubt) he puts a strong team out against Coventry to get the new boys time to gel and get us ready for Saturday against Spurs.
