Next 2 weeks will shape our season. I'm praying we don't mess this up against Forest as well. It will be hard to take if we get beat in this 1 in 2 legs. I'm slightly worried as well.

Jonny, you have every reason to worry, and trust me, you are definitely not on your own. I have said it many times: our slow, predictable play is far too easy to play against, and every team has worked it out. In some of our recent performances, the standards and tactical set-up have been poor, and that's why the majority of yesterday's posts are showing serious concerns that we could end up with nothing other than qualifying for one of the minor European competitions.
Just remember, 3rd to fifth in the league, our only hope is the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford all fail to get the necessary points to catch us. I can't see us getting enough to stop one of them if they win most of their remaining games. Grim reading, yes. Unfortunately, the way we played yesterday, and the twenty minutes against Sunderland, makes the concern justified.

The other side of that is all those other teams are behind us for a reason. Although I am slightly concerned about losing out, I still rather have our points than theirs. Even with our blips this season, we have been better than all of them. We beat Fulham 5 times in a row; we had to lose to them at some point. We have given them lots of chances to catch up on us, but they haven’t taken them. If I had the choice of beating either Fulham or Spurs, I’d choose Spurs and hopefully have a hand in relegating them.
Like I said yesterday, I do have some concerns, but I’m also excited, and we can’t lose out on the exciting part of things either.
Keep the faith, let yesterday be a wake up call to the players and manager, and let’s get back at it Thursday and Sunday. UTV.
One last thing, Forest have banged in the goals last 2 games, that’s true, but they had scored sod all before that and had struggled for a goal or a win at home. It’s not the Forests that consistently score 3 and 4 goals per game, it’s City, Barca, Bayern, so let’s not get too caught up in 2 good results and remember they scraped their quarter final by 1 goal against 10 men, and we won ours 7-1.
