Well, I was underwhelmed by the appointment of Gerrard, and sad to say that feeling hasn't changed I fear he may be out of his depth, of course we had the usual new manager bounce at the beginning but honestly the last few performances have an air of Bruce about them, no idea going forward hoping someone will come up with something without any real gameplan, it's obvious to all that Luiz has been poor pretty much all season yet he still starts, mcginn in wrong position, and worryingly players looking disinterested, this season probably just about survival now, big decisions will need to be made in the summer of this continues

I said after Smiths sacking that I didn't see the point if we were only going for Gerrard and unfortunately it seems to be panning out.
Villa have always had a habit of throwing away promising positions in my lifetime from Big Ron to John Gregory and Martin o Neill so I wasn't going to get ahead of myself whoever was in charge.
I think we either needed to go all out for a proper big name manager if trying to get instant success or stuck by Smith a little longer to see if he could bring Brian Little type stability for a while.

Totally agree about the Gerrard appointment RK. Of course I hoped it would work, but I just don't enjoy watching us at the moment. It's starting to look like a car crash. It worries me we will lose credibility for the summer window, and our promising youngsters will be more likely to have their heads turned.

Never a penalty, but the second goal Mings is at fault once again, honestly lost count of how many goals have come from his mistakes this season, he is a liabilty.

Yet Harry Maguire is in the squad, who shouldn't be anywhere near the squad considering his recent actions and comments, also Sougthgate told Grealish he needs to be playing in the premier league before he can select him, yet he now selects Kalvin Phillips who has been playing Championship all season, to be honest i'm not the biggest fan of Grealish but he should be in the squad.
