Newcastle don’t play any of the Premiership contenders in the run in the only tricky fixture for them is Utd away but even that might end up not being too difficult depending on which version of Utd turn up. They also play Sheffield Utd, Burnley, Brentford plus I think Palace and Brighton if they go on a run it’s conceivable albeit unlikely that they could put us under pressure right at the death. But wouldn’t it be great if we got a result at Arsenal, win our next home game and Spurs were to lose the North London derby, all of a sudden we are six points clear and Champions League her we come. All ifs buts and maybe’s I know but one can dream can’t one ?. UTV.

Newcastle are still a threat in my opinion, even a draw tomorrow would be a massive result, arsenal have to slip up at some point so hopefully it’s tomorrow.

You don't think we'll get 5/6 points from Bournemouth, Brighton and Palace?
Newcastle have a good run in, but I don't see them winning every game. 6 points should guarantee 5th, 5 could possibly result in it being down to goal difference but I don't think we'll let it come to that.

Whack, Newcastle are definitely a threat, they have gone though their difficult period and have something to prove to their fans and owners after the champions league disaster and poor performance until recently in the premier league. It's still in our own hands and if things don't finally work out as we all want it will have been totally self inflicted.

I read something yesterday somewhere, could of being jones knows on sky app, I think it was like Newcastle haven’t lost to anyone outside of pool city and arsenal in ages, they are 5th over the period he mentioned, again I’m not 100% on it but I remember thinking “they are on a good run we got to watch that space” I think we will be safe enough from the and united if we can get 2 more wins, I think 10 or 11 points and we will finish ahead of spurs, time to put on our big boy pants and see this great season out ??

Not losing, and winning, aren't the same though. One loss or 2 draws is all we need from them.
Palace will be tough for them while they aren't safe yet. I expect Palace to be on the beach against us though.
Brentford are starting to pick up again so they will give them a game.
United love a draw so wouldn't be surprised if they took a point.
I think 7-9 points should be the aim to beat Spurs, if they get more than that with their run then fair play to them.
Putting a 10/11 point target on our team is way too much pressure and would only serve to backfire.
