Looking increasingly likely that Unai Emery will be offered, and he will accept, a new contract.
This is as good as it gets Villa fans. The best manager the club have had in the modern era commits to Villa.
Thank you Naseef Sawiris and Wes Edens. You have kept every promise you have made since 2018 even though the outside noise has tried to distract and disrupt during our journey so far.
There have been ups and downs but the upward trajectory is obvious and significant.
We have a young and exciting squad being assembled. This season is about learning and improving again.
All Villa fans should be buzzing about this.

If we could offload Garnacho would you take Rashford back? Doing nothing at Utd, but Unai certainly got a tune out of him when he was with us before.

Watching Nusa tonight against city I'd have him over Rashford all day long.
personally I'd like 3 more players added to this squad, a top class CB, another pacy striker like Watkins, Malen and Jackson (I don't think Madjo is going to be good enough and he doesn't suit our playing style, and Abraham is a waste of a good pair of underpants) and a very decent backup keeper.
I think Tammy will be gone in January. probably a lot to ask for but we are in a very good financial position, if we are going strong in the league and CL I think it's worth investing.
