Another win 3 points, should have been well away and out of sight. After a sticky 20 mins, Buendia was great, a bit more luck, and he could have had at least 3. Gomes had a great game in a strange position,Allyson had a brilliant game down the Right, certainly deserved a goal. Garnacho showed us just what he can do tonight, shame we can't give him more game time.

Ginny once again showed us how he is the glue that keeps our midfield moving forwards, before they start Mings only misplaced the ball once, steady as a rock once again. For a mishmash side they all did well.
On now to Man City, at least we have reinforcements back,to bolster the side. UTV.

Spot on Dave watched the game over here in Menorca with some Real Madrid fans both games on TV next to each other they was very impressed with Villa very impressed explaining to them we have a lot of injuries too.

Out of 1 persons mouth he uttered these words not mine " We have the best manager in the world and should treasure him whilst we have him" Never a true word spoken!

Dave agree on everything apart from Garnacho, I didn't see him show anything but being able to kick it straight at their keeper or wide when he had decent chances. up against tired defenders who were spent after chasing Allyson and Mbaye for 75 odd mins and he couldn't put a nail in their coffin.

You may not believe me but every time he got the ball I was shouting "come on Garnacho show us that you can still do it” at the tv. my young lad was asking why was I shouting for him when he knows I don't like him? My answer was simple "he's wearing our shirt and I'd love it if he was top class regardless of my opinion” I'm not one of these people who would rather they fail and be proved right, I'd only love it if he came on and ripped teams apart simply because that would make us better as a team and would give us more chance of success.

If you want proof look at Jackson, I hated the thought of him coming to Villa, I did not want him in our team, didn't think he was good enough, consistent enough, honest enough, hardworking enough, all based on what I seen of him at Chelsea. boy was I wrong, he's class, I love watching him play for us, he fits our system so so well, he try's so hard and he's a constant threat, a definite upgrade on Watkins (as much as I loved him).

I've eaten pretty much all of my hat on Jackson but I've saved a little bit for Garnacho and if he proves me wrong I'll eat the rest of it, but as things stand he's no better than Bailey and I don't mean the Bailey that ripped the league apart that one season.
