Lots has been spoken about the upcoming international break, I have just read 8 of our players who played yesterday are off to join their national teams. So much for Emery getting three weeks to get the squad playing how he wants them to play.
Let's just hope they all come back injury free and raring to go. He will have a few to work with especially our three wingers.

So are you saying we shoulda bought players that aren't good enough to play international football, but can learn a system? I'd think it'd be more about getting players fit enough, a few of our injured players back up to match fit, there'll be the odd behind closed doors 90 min matches ??♂️

Losing internationals when your at our level is inevitable but it will give the fringe players a chance to shine, don't we have a friendly against a Spanish team coming up?

I've been banging on about rotating the team, Lindelöf is gonna be playing 4 competitive games over the next few weeks, that says to me when we line up against Brentford our back 4 should be Mings, THB, Wan Bissaka & Rugeri, all of whom are not away, at BH, learning the Emery way. Kamara, Gomes & hopefully Goretzka central midfield sorted, & why not have Garnacho, Alysson & Madjo up top, if anything Brentford wouldn't be expecting that line up. But all our players on international duty could come back unscathed & we've got more options than I can ever remember us having ??♂️

Wan bissaka is away and so is Ruggeri. That would be a terrible line up. Like Fish friday we'd get well and truly battered!
