A win is a win no matter what. It would be right to say we played better in the second half. Why do we capitulate at the end of games when we are comfortably in control, panic just sets in. Great goal by Buendia.
Emery will be fuming at the end, another ten minutes we would probably have conceded again. Great result great performance, however it's only right to balance our comments with some home truths.

Simple answer is the subs that came on. Barkley not at the level needed, Hemmings was poor when he came on, lost possession a few times and gave them the silly free, he just wasn't up to speed, but he he young he will only get better. Tammy was his usual premier league self and we might aswel be down to 10 men, we had no out ball to relieve pressure, Madjo will fix that he's full of running and power.
Manzambi was class, MaGinn was his usual, Jackson was great, Kamara had a decent game, take those players out and it'd weaken anyone, when we have Goretzka to come on for Kamara we will be stronger in midfield, Barkley is a weak link.

Whack Cash is an even weaker link at times. Kamara, whilst currently isn't at his best he will be a regular starter. I thought the left back grew in to the game after a dodgy start. Buendia is what he is,loses the ball then scored a wordly.

Buendia done a lot of dirty work today as well, he hasn't being great the last couple of games to be fair but he was much better today, he's a little Pitbull and full of passion to win he's a great asset to have around our younger players.
Defensively I don't think AWB is as good as cash but he's the best backup we had at right back in years. I think cash will keep his place, AWB can be quiet reckless as well, but that recklessness also makes him an exciting player going forward.
the Italian looks like a good addition, I didn't see the first half today but I liked what I seen in the second half.
I'm genuinely excited by Manzambi, he's got the lot by the looks of things, once his confidence is up with a run of games I think we are going to love him, catchy name, great new chant from the fans, he reminds me of Olise / Eze type players we have all seen, if him and Jackson click they will be incredibly dangerous, he's another who has adapted well to our system, at times he looks lazy but he's sharpe always ready to hit the overdrive button, we often criticised Watkins for using too much energy running after everything and maybe tiredness affected his finishing.
he's a serious looking dude as well, even when he scores he doesn't show too much emotion, he looks driven to show people they were wrong to discard him.
