This is a dreadful performance. Abraham is dreadful. Emery has to sort this out very quickly. We’re in a relegation battle!!

It's not even funny how bad Abraham is. We were down to 10 men at half time, if you ask me, then 9 when Maatsen went off. Emery's stubbornness to not start any new signings is costing us.
That second half was shocking. I know Jackson was booked, but I'd rather he took the chance and left him on than bring on Tammy. He does nothing every time he comes on, so disappointing.

Yep, agree whack, throw them all in and, let them get confidence. If Unai isn't careful, he's gonna be in trouble; only so long he gets a pass from us Villa. If it starts to get to game week and it's still the same, then serious questions need to be asked.

No manager would play them all, Jonny. You can't accommodate Garnacho, Hemmings, Mbaye, Manzambi and Alysson in the same 11, that's just suicide. Hemmings didn't have a great game today, but he has deserved his spot in the starting 11, whereas Abraham hasn't deserved anything; he's a complete no show every time he plays. Buendia was terrible. I'd have had him off at half time instead of Jackson.
As for talk of sacking, it's a bit premature. Hopefully Madjo is ready for the next game; at least he brings a focal point for our attack.
Personally, I think Emery took Jackson off not because he was worried he would get a second booking, but simply to punish him for his reaction on the pitch and picking up a needless booking, just to teach him a lesson, and it backfired in a big way.

Im not calling for his head for me he has until the manu game in november and if its still bad id get rid we cant afford to go dwn again.
