Glad I went in the end, bit slow this morning. It was a great game with great atmosphere. I echo everything that has been written. Of course we are slightly disappointed but not at all down beat. I just hope these youngsters are in for the long haul and not, like many others, shipped out to get experience in the lower leagues. This hasn't worked in the past.
If you are good enough, you are old enough is the cliche. The experience in the Premier League is the best way in my opinion to get the necessary experience. These youngsters look good enough to me to be around the first team on a permanent basis. Just waiting for the train to Munich. Hope it's quiet. Had a really late night.
