I think he showed his age with some of his chances, but to be fair he is only 17. I'm delighted he got his goal. It should give him lots of confidence. Hemmings played great as well. Would have rather seen Cisse on instead of Mings. The subs didn't work at all. Allyson looks like he's going to be as frustrating as Bailey, stupid flicks instead of the simple ball every time.

We should have been 3 up at half time, but it was PSG at the end of the day. Great game for us, created loads of chances, lots to smile about. Hopefully Manzambi can be that creative spark in the attacking third that we missed tonight. Ref was terrible, imo. No wonder they didn't let him into the USA.

We lost by centimetres tonight, against (arguably) the best team in the world. Most optimistic I've ever been going into next season. Remember this time last year when we were written off before the start? Any player that we want has gotta be impressed with what we did tonight & want to be a part of it.

I'll put my neck on the line: Madjo is gonna be that generational Giggs, Rooney player, & he's ours. Let's shake things up. If our absentees want to do 1, bye bye, you'll be replaced.

Whack, Mings was on for what, 10mins. HaHa, Emery put him on for his experience. Alyson, I thought, looked good, got to the line and put crosses in, not his fault if they never read them. After that result, I can't see how you can criticise any of them. UTV.

A cross is no good if it doesn’t go to one of your players. 3 or 4 times he tried fancy stuff, and every time he gave it away. The only one to put decent crosses in was SMJ, but Allyson is young, so he could improve, but I’m not holding my breath, plus he’s very injury prone.
I was pleasantly surprised at how we played, and that we were right in it till the end. I thought Maatsen worked hard and played well until he got to the final third. Too many times he ran into a blind alley and lost it. Maatsen cost us 40 million, but he wasn’t worth it, hence why Emery is spending another 30 million on a LB, cause he knows he’s not good enough. I thought Cash was a liability all night; he had both hands on that Georgian dude's back all night. I know he’s one of the best players in the world, but it’s nothing but pure stupid to be blatantly pushing a player in the back with 2 hands when they are facing away from our goal, close to the sideline. There’s just no need for it, and another ref would have given free kicks in positions where the ball can be delivered into our box. The first goal came from his side, and he played Doue on for the second one by being a mile behind the rest of the defenders.

I haven’t been impressed with Bizot in preseason or tonight. Torres didn’t even try to tackle Doue for the second goal; he just strolled back hoping for offside. So, yes, there was lots of good play, the youngsters impressed for the most part, lots of potential there. They will only improve, but there’s always stuff to be critical of. Most of our starting 11 played well or very well, but the subs added nothing in my opinion. We will have a stronger bench for the season though, so that’s a huge plus. A draw or a win is a good result, but getting beat is getting beat. I’m glad we didn’t get embarrassed, but stupid stuff cost us tonight.
Barkley, another who looks lost for ideas when he gets in the final third.
And I’d be quiet happy if that was Mings last game; he’s rubbish. You can slate me all you like, but most on here talk about breaking into the top 6 permanently and pushing for top 4. You can’t expect that and at the same time be happy with mediocre; that’s just how it is, expectations raise every year.

Until the transfer window closes, we won't know how competitive we'll be. Madjo isn't the answer. PSG hadn't been back training for long, so I wouldn't get carried away with the performance. Top 8 will be a good season. We'll get dismantled in the Champions League, so don't get your hopes up!

Please, please, please let us say our goodbyes to Mings and Bailey. Each time Mings gets on, I'm waiting for him to make his next mistake (while spending energy on trying to look cool, gum in mouth) - and Bailey is like playing with a player less, and the opponents know his side of the pitch is dismantled.
