Can’t believe I’m actually seeing Doom & Gloom on here, and the season hasn’t even started yet. At least wait till the open season is over, and we’ve actually kicked a ball ? ? UTV.

I know Dave, the window's only been open 2 weeks as well, and people think we're gonna do bad and Unai leaves. It's not FIFA career mode or fm26. Wait until the season starts and for the window to close, and we have made 1 signing, Cisse. Also, if Madjo wins his case at CAS, that's another new signing that Unai wanted in the squad last season.
Plus, we got Allyson. Let's hope he can stay fit as well. Villa is still in a good position, even if we don't make any signings. We will just have to promote our own.

It's a worry, because, like last year, our transfer business was concluded late and we ended up with players that Unai didn't want, like Harvey Elliott, who added next to nothing to the team (not his fault, I hasten to add). Most other PL clubs have concluded some business; we haven't concluded any, and, added to that, most of the players who were available relatively cheaply, and we were interested in, have gone to other clubs.
Given we haven't a lot of cash to play with, and now Onana's injury, it has to be a cause of some concern that we have yet to sign someone.
