I see the London press are at it again, saying Chelsea are preparing a £100 million bid for Rogers and putting it in such a way as if we should be grateful. I know every player has his price but the bidding needs to start at a player who plays in a similar position.
So Florian Wirtz cost I believe somewhere in the region of £116 million that has to be the starting point for any Rogers bid and for us to even consider a sale it needs to be a British record fee in my view.

I think he'll be at Real Madrid at the start of next season - He'll have an incredible World Cup and he'll join Madrid, and I don't think we'll entertain any bids lower than 120M, he's the next big English superstar and I just don't see him at Chelsea. It's how Villa replace him that makes me nervous, do you try and find a direct replacement or replace him (in the aggregate) across 2 or 3 players?

I’d ask for 150 million especially selling to a rival team. I agree on the Real Madrid thing I think he’s better than Chelsea.
We done the 3 players thing with grealish and it didn’t really work out the best, there are great players in south America I think we need to focus over there to find a gem or 2… I’d look for a direct replacement for him and spend about 60 million if we’re serious about being a full time champions league team

I think he will go but I think he will stay in the PL and it will be Chelsea he ends up at. I agree we need to push the price up as high as we can. In terms of replacements we are not going to be able to sign 2 or 3 because of the SCR restrictions so if we are going to sign two or three quality players then two or three of our top salaried players will need to go as well, I think replacements will need to be sourced from leagues other than the PL as salary demands will be much lower.
