Slightly different take on results going our way - Without meaning to sound pessimistic, Utd and Chelsea both winning could prove to more meaningful than City and Arsenal dropping points. I really do hope for a miracle that we can still be in the title race in March, but my realistic head tells me we should be more concerned about building as big a cushion as possible with other teams beneath us competing for the top four.
With fixtures piling up and squad depth being tested, not to mention Utd not having anything other to play for other than the league, I don't think we should be getting too ahead of ourselves.

Fair point dbs, I was hoping for a draw in the United game but I expected Chelsea to win their game, hopefully United go back to losing next week. the Everton game is massive, it’s also a huge test of character for this group of players, if they can take the opportunity to get 3 points clear of city I think it’s going to tell us if we are title contenders or just pretenders.
if we win it keeps a nice cushion back to Liverpool United and Chelsea but if we lose it will give them a lot of hope, I’m quietly confident we will get the job done, Everton will not be confident coming to VP with our home record. keep the faith, the crowd will be ever so important I really hope they get behind us from the off.
