If signing Guessand in the summer has left us in a position where we have to sell one of our more established stars to comply with financial regulations then it highlights even more the terrible job Monchi done at villa, I really don't see what all the fuss was about in terms of his reputation, total has been if you ask me.

I just wonder whether he'll be told "don't unpack son" when he returns from the AFCON. He could be used as a makeweight in some sort of deal.

Trinity can't believe Malens gone and Guessand and Sancho are still there, at the moment, our transfer dealings are definitely not matching our high playing standards.

Scotty it's certainly strange viewing it from the outside that is for sure.
For me, Guessand is the obvious 1st team choice if someone has to go to enable a player or players to come in.
There's no doubt in my mind there is as much frustration within the VP hierarchy as there is amongst the majority of the fanbase caused by the regulations.
I also believe we may have been forced to bring in some players who we otherwise might not have bought because of those regulations. If that is the case it's even more remarkable what Unai and the coaching team have achieved this season with this team.
