The purchases of the latest potential young signings, they both look great for the future, however the number of young potential stars of the future in the past, I can't think of a single success. Chelsea have tried the young potential route and have failed miserably. We all hope the new guys will be the stars of the future, history doesn't doesn't bode well, but perhaps things will change, I certainly hope so.
On to Spurs, I'm off to the Capital to watch the game and hope it's a successful day out, however I do think Emery is not as adventurous as his press conference, he will not be putting his best starting eleven on the field for kick off. We would all love a great FA cup run however not at the expense of the champions league ambitions .

The only one that was a success that springs to mind is Gareth Barry who we picked up for peanuts from Brighton. I believe the thinking is if they come good that’s great if not we sell on for a profit and when your paying under a million for a player that’s ok I think your on fairly safe ground, however when you are proposing to pay £10 million then I think you need to be really confident the kids going to make it.
