Quick question was any lines drawn for the offsides yesterday?

I didn’t see them drawn, the second goal was pretty suspect

Cash was clearly playing Botman onside, the other 2 Newcastle players didn't make any attempt to play the ball so didn't matter.
The reason I think they took so long was that they were trying to judge whether Cash was fouled or not.
If they judged his position to be as a result of a push then we'd have gotten the free kick.

I don’t think they checked for a foul mate I’m sure it just said checking for offside might be wrong. But in the Liverpool Chelsea game they drew line just wondering why it didn’t happen in ours? They both looked pretty close to me. ( mind you I was on pint 6 at the time)

That was the original check but won't have been the only one, the screen only mentions the primary check. They probably decided pretty quickly that it didn't need the lines and then were checking to see if his position was affected by the other Newcastle players.

No need for the negativity. It's 1 game out of 38. The high line works Emery has proven this with how well we did at the end of last season. Remember when we beat liverpools high line. It won't happen every week keep the faith. Newcastle are a very strong team especially at home.

Bad day at the office today! Enough chances to win but we didn't. I think the last 6 games apart from Newcastle we have been very poor even though have been picking up the wins. Young, Bailey, Bert should not be playing. Buendia is very inconsistent and gives the ball away to much trying to do everhtjing on his own. Why wasn't we playing the ball to Watkins in behind he was making some good runs. Shame still top half finish will be good and onto next season as I think Europe is out of the question now.

When Emery came in I would have settled for 10th.
As it stands we are still hopeful of 8th which I will be over the moon with.
Looking forward to the summer wheeling and dealing, it is going to be fascinating.
