After hearing Villa linked with Brentford striker Igor Thiago in Jan transfer, he definitely knows where the net is, big strong forward who could be ideal for the Villa. The only problem is with the amount that he's scoring he will cost a fortune but we definitely need another striker.
Unfortunately Watkins is having a mare of a season and Malen looks good when he comes on or starts but he's not an out and out striker plus we should always have options for every position

4th successive season in Europe for the first time in our history, and there's idiots on here and other forums saying we should sack Emery.

In addition to my last post, Bournemouth would need to win all of their last 4 games to tie with Villa if we win against Spurs, so we would need just a point from our games against Burnley, Liverpool and Citeh.

What a great game last night between PSG and Bayern, I got a feeling that it might just be Munichs year to win it.
Best thing from the game was Nuno Mendes getting proper mugged off in front of his mates from Michael Olise also why Liverpool got rid of Diaz god only knows why

Cup games are always a game of chance. It would be great if Villa won something, but I always think the league should come first and foremost.

Poor old Cashy, his head must be still spinning after being turned inside out and torn apart by Rowe. Hopefully, that was just a great game for him and he drops off a bit for the 2nd leg.
Ollie was great and almost back to his best. The runs he made and the strength he showed were fantastic. Hope he goes on a nice little run now it's coming to the end of the season.

Kamara was signed by Gerrard I think, one of the only decent things he did at Villa
