A workmanlike performance Cash and Digne snuffed out any threat out wide and defensively we looked a lot more solid with Kamara and Onana in front of the back four that said however we definitely missed Tielemans flair in the middle of the park. Couple of things firstly why did we take Mings off? I thought he was really solid at the heart of the defence although on another day he could have been sent off. My other worry centres around Asensio recently he flits in and out of games and occasionally goes missing. I hope he isn't another Phillipe Coutinho in the making.

Lotm perhaps Tom had a word with Emery to get Torres on . Mings getting better every opportunity he gets, defence certainly stronger with him in it .

Thought mings was lucky to be on the pitch however I like what he did. I’d imagine he brought Torres on to play the balls in behind however shortly after going down to 10 this wasn’t the case

To say we haven’t lost a game in the prem when mings has started is ridiculous. Don’t you remember the stevie g and dean smith era. Let me just remind you we had our best season in a very very long time last year and to no suprise mings didn’t start any. Super pay Torres

Hi Tom, stats don't say that, last year we conceded 61 goals and had 8 clean sheets. The previous year with Mings in the side we conceded 46 goals and had 12 clean sheets. What it shows is that last year the season was rescued by scoring more goals not a better defence.
