I have a question. If we have Rashford on a loan contract that includes the right to buy at an agreed price (£60m?) does that mean we have first dibs and thus, even if Barcelona offer more, we can still sign him for that price no matter what they offer?

MD, I think the player has the final say, I reckon he is Barcelona bound.

Yep he has used villa to get bigger clubs bck in for him, his wages would be too high anyway, there's other players out there better than him anyway that we could rashfords been ok but not worth 40mil and 300gs, we must tie arscenscio dwn thou quality player and dissasi can go bck to chelsea awfull cb, rb what ever u want to call him

Thanks for clarifying Scotty. I’m sure Rashford’s fluency in Catalan will help him enormously. Would be amusing if Barcelona don’t actually want him though ?

It essentially doesn’t mean anything at all except if we bid the 40m then we we will get to enter talks with the player instantly. All it’s really doing is skipping the negotiation stage.
Nothing stopping Barcelona offering 25m if UTD accept the offer they’d have the same “advantage” if you want to call it that.
