Great performance last night, more than impressed with Jackson and I love the fact he never smiles, (THE ICE MAN JACKSON) if he stays in thd form and hangs around for a few season he will smash ollie's record.

IV, the sad part of football,or the inevitable,a player who has ability and hasn't always showed it, plays for a manager who gets the best out of them. The player shows his true class and ability and what happens, the press wax lyrical (like they did today) and the vultures come circling and his value goes through the roof and his agent gets him the deal of his life, I know that's football, look at Rogers.

Rogers' ability was never in question. We signed him as a teenager and he developed each season. He also didn't agitate to leave. We got a great offer for him and accepted it. People will always work differently for different managers. Thats the case in all industries not just sport.

My point is that if a player is in the limelight if the price is right they move on, loyalty doesn't usually get in the equation. It's great that Jackson is doing well and playing for the right manager, that was my comparison with Rogers.
