Despite all the links to Jackson, I can’t see how we get a deal done. If we buy him we suffer from the 45 day rule which impacts our financial position, and even if Chelsea sanctioned a loan, which I very much doubt, we already have 2 players on loan deals, so we can’t use that route to land him.
In reality we are going to have to look at alternatives.

We've got Garnacho on loan from Chelsea, so can't loan another from them. We can loan 4 players in total. 2 domestic and 2 foreign. If we didn't have the UEFA restriction of not being in a negative transfer balance, we'd have been ok, given that incoming players' cost is spread over their contract and sales count in total.

So... very confused by all this lot, so I’ll do it in questions that I hope someone can answer. ??♂️
1. PSR is a Prem thing where you can’t make over X amount of losses over a 3-year period, which restricts spending, so is SCR a UEFA thing?
2. Is SCR (if a UEFA thing) only covering your squad that is picked to play in Europe, not the whole of your squad?
3. Does SCR roll over 3 years like PSR?
4.
If yes to 3, if we’ve bought players before we got into Europe the 1st time, does that mean their value is £0, only their wages count?
I’ve got many more questions that would probably get progressively ridiculous, cos it all sounds a bit backwards to me, qualify for Europe, spend to make a success of it, get fined for trying to aspire to success by improving your squad, clown world if that the case. ??♂️

Yep, can only spend 70% of annual turnover on wages. That's an annual plan for clubs that have been in Europe in consecutive seasons. The Prem is following suit and getting rid of PSR eventually.

I'm pretty sure PSR is completely gone this season in the Prem.
Prem SCR is 85% this season, with a planned 5% per year reduction until we match UEFA. UEFA SCR is 70%.
We still have the additional restrictions, though, where we can only register new players for Europe to a max value of the players we sell (not spreading the cost).
Buck, the 70% rule is all first team squad costs, which includes the annual amount of purchase price and any other signing fees, not just the wages.
The only real difference to PSR, from my understanding, is that running costs of the club are excluded, and there is no allowance to make any losses.
