Watched the game yesterday a few things I noticed,
Ollie is one of the hardest working strikers in the league (I know he isiant going to get 20+ goals a season but he never stops making runs the we have is we are now always looking to play down trough the middle, the wide player we had on the pitch was bailey (who doesn't bring much to table anymore)everything we do goes to trough the middle,
Cash who can cross a good ball refuses too
Mattesson thinks he is Ronaldo in his prime just won't cross either
Our build up is slow and at times painfull to watch
Rogers was nonexistent yesterday and should have been taken earlier for Tammy
I feel for ollie at times we are quick to criticise him, when really he isiant been given the service that used to get, balls in behind, balls down the channels, Its like now everything has to go trough Rogers for it to count

I watched the game yesterday. Teams are now crowding the middle of the park and forcing us wide, and we don't have wide players who want to attack the full back and get a cross in. Bailey is coming in for some stick, and I feel a bit sorry for him in that he has been out for most of the season with injury and clearly isn't match fit.
With regards to Watkins, I agree he works hard, but so did Kenan Davis. The currency for a centre forward is goals, and unfortunately he doesn't score enough. Wherever we finish, and whatever funds are available, we need to invest in a goal scoring no9.

Both Watkins and Bailey were trying to run behind the defence, but the defenders didn't try to find them until it was either too late or they were facing their own goal. While we are lacking a midfield that can live up to what we are missing, it wouldn't have hurt to bypass that area a little more often.
It would have been a massive risk against DCL, but having Torres there to try more decisive forward balls may have paid off.

I just feel at the moment we are carrying too many, i.e. Bailey, Rogers, to a point, Watkins, simply because we aren't finding Watkins' runs. Rogers needs to do it week in week out. He has been blown up by the media, but simply playing great 1 game in every 5 isn't what top-class players do.
