Games like last night are the difference between us being title contenders and not. I was glad not to lose but we were missing a little bit of spark in the attacking third, the subs didn't have a big impact like usual, they helped settle us down when palace looked like they were going up a gear and starting to dominate but they didn't give us enough to grab a winner, in my opinion we are 2 players away from being proper contenders this year, I think if we had Bailey from 2 seasons back and Duran or a similar shoot on sight young striker we could be top of the league, can't see us being lucky enough to find 2 good loan players in January so I reckon we will have to be happy with top 4 or 5, we have a good lead on spurs, Chelsea, United and Newcastle, with Brentford I can't see them sustaining their current position, you would expect Liverpool to improve but we do have a decent lead on them, rather than catch arsenal it's probably more of a priority to match the teams behind us week in week out.

Spot on Whack .Emery has turned let's say good players into elite players the man is a genuis and I will not have a bad word said against him.

Call a spade a spade here, it might of being a missed opportunity but every result apart from Newcastle went our way, lots of draws so no harm done in what has being a terrible fixture for us in recent years. looking at the next round of premier league fixtures there are some tricky games again for most of our rivals so lots of opportunity to close the gap above and widen the gap below.
