I see we are being linked with Brennan Johnson at Spurs, direct and pacy would suit how we play perfectly. Now if we could land him and a centre forward then whilst I'm not sure we could win the PL I think we would certainly secure CL football for next season, and maybe just maybe we could push Arsenal and City to seasons end? You can but dream.

Not sure about him LOTM, Spurs don't fancy him, why should we take an average teams cast off.

Scotty the guy was great at Forest and he is still a regular for Wales at Spurs he is competing in the wide positions with Kudus and Kulesevski both quality operators in the wide position s I would hardly describe him as a cast off.

LOTM, probably surplus to requirements is more appropriate, I agree he was good at Forest, I have definitely watched him at Spurs and yes he has ability but seems to go missing when it's starts to get tough, we already have had and have players that fall in to this category, I personally think it would be a risk, I do accept we need a player in this category.

Why do we need (more) wingers? On a hot winning streak without 1. £40M+ (which I doubt we have to spend anyway) needs to go on a No9 ??♂️

In my opinion we played some of our best stuff the season before last with Bailey out wide he was always used as the out ball when we turned over possession and I think he scored something like 10 goals and I forget how many assists during that period and I would argue we moved the ball much more quickly and were more incisive in the final third of the pitch.
Last season when Bailey went off the boil Emery tweaked how we played which involved less reliance on players out wide. However I think Emery does like have a wide player as an option otherwise why would he take Sancho? h”and that’s why we continue to be linked with wingers up to and including this window.

Read somewhere that Roma are sending Bailey back to us in Jan, the irony would be Sancho going to Roma, at least we’d be £100k+ better off per week in wages, maybe those wages could go on a No9, which we need ??♂️
